Broken Wing

Broken Wing

Through the lens, I see the broken wing of the butterfly. He is moving from flower to flower fulfilling his purpose. He is doing what he is designed to do, even with the brokenness of his wing.

Aren't we like that butterfly? Broken yet meant for a purpose. Created to do those things that God pours into our lives. Being a wife, a husband, a mother, a father, a sister, or a brother.

Not quite whole until God does His work, pours out His grace. He enables us to reach what we cannot reach alone. He allows us to bring glory to Him.

He created each one with a purpose. With His grace even in the brokenness of life, we can fulfill that purpose. Paul once asked for a thorn in his flesh to be removed. An area of brokenness. But God said, "My grace is sufficient."

In our brokenness today, let us remember God is enough.
His grace is sufficient. Even when our wings are broken, He can lift us up.
