Poured Out
Jesus said "If any of you is thirsty, come to Me and drink. If you believe in Me, the Hebrew Scriptures say that rivers of living water will flow from within you." The Voice Bible.
These waters are not for us to keep. They must flow out and refresh the souls of others.
They must be poured forth from within us for change to come.
The living waters rushing forth from the Jesus within us to quench the thirst of His people, the people around us. Then we become more like Jesus -
To be like Jesus is to be poured out.
Oswald Chambers said it best, "God spilt the life of His Son that the world might be saved."
Are we ready? Am I ready to live a poured out life. A spilt life. Allowing the rivers of living water to flow through me - to those who are thirsty.
